At noon on May 31, 2017, the Business School held an academic and scientific project session, “Scientific Innovation Cup”, to help students understand more about science and technology projects and guide them to actively participate in related activities. During the session, Fan Jiangtao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, said that undergraduate students' participation in scientific research can improve students' comprehensive quality. Thus, he encouraged more students to actively participate in science and technology projects. Ms. Li Yanchun briefly introduced the process of science and technology project approval to the students. Zhang Hao, Head of Department, gave a fascinating and detailed presentation about work declaration, project selection, project defence, thesis writing, and other topics. Cao Fefan from Accounting 142 Class shared her experience of participating in science and technology projects as well.

    Students attending the session expressed that they were deeply inspired and had a new understanding of science and technology projects. They also expressed their intention to actively participate in related activities as either individuals or teams.
