In July 2020, with the support of the Business School, five teams of BTBU students participated in the 2020 “Business Talkers Cup” Planning Competition of the National Business Negotiation Competition. Teachers from the Business School and the Economics School served as co-advisors. After two months of careful preparation, five teams stood out and won two first-class awards and three second-class awards in September.

The competition was organized by the China Communication and Negotiation Committee of the Industrial Technology Society of Economic Management Colleges. More than 140 university teams participated in this competition. 20 members from BTBU majoring in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting and International Trade formed separate teams and worked closely together. They completed the business negotiation planning entitled “Negotiation on Purchasing Wind Turbine Gears” and won the jury’s high regard and positive evaluation through carrying out SWOT analysis and designing negotiation strategies.
