From October 23 to 24, 2020, the 6th HRU Human Resource Vocational Skills Competition (Northern Region) was held online. The team composed of Yu Jingjing and Zhao Xiaoqian, majoring in Human Resources (Grade 18), Liu Haiting, majoring in Business Administration (English Teaching, Grade 18), and Yue Tian, majoring in Accounting (Grade 18), won first prize in the competition and qualified for the national finals under the guidance of their advisors.

The competition lasted for two days, and was divided into four compulsory parts: Workplace Practice, Leaderless Group Discussion, Case Analysis, and Human Resource Practice Design, as well as two bonus parts: English Speech and Live Q&A. Before the competition, Associate Professor Liu Beini and Wang Changbin offered careful guidance and the contestants devoted themselves to the preparation. After fierce competition, BTBU won first prize in the Northern Region, making the best result achieved by our university in five consecutive years.
