On 30 March 2018, Dr. Haihao Ross Lu, Associate Professor of the School of Accounting and Finance from the University of Waterloo, gave an academic report to the faculty and students from the Department of Accounting after being extended an invitation.

His lecture was entitled “Economic Consequences of Corporate Governance Disclosure: Evidence from the 2006 SEC Regulation on Related-Party Transactions”. Zhang Hongliang, Head of the Department of Accounting, presided over the lecture. Professor Mao Xinshu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School, as well as faculty members and students of the Department of Accounting attended the lecture.

Dr. Lu had an in-depth exchange and lively discussion around the topic with the faculty and students in attendance.
