On May 14, 2023, at 19:00, the MBA Education Center of the Business School held a seminar on "MBA Thesis Topic Selection and Writing Standards." Ms. Li Jing, Deputy Director of the School of Economics and Business Administration and the MBA Education Center at Beijing Normal University, was invited to provide guidance and answers for the students. The seminar was hosted by Deputy Director Qiu Yong of the Department of Business Administration, and it was attended by Mr. He Hui, Executive Director of the MBA Center at the Business School, and more than 70 MBA graduate students.

Ms. Li Jing provided comprehensive and systematic explanations for the students regarding the positioning, basic requirements, and topic selection of MBA theses. Using the example of a corporate diagnostic thesis, she swiftly guided the audience through key aspects such as formulating thesis topics, designing hierarchical headings, and structuring the main sections of the thesis. She emphasized the importance of adhering to the thesis writing standards. Additionally, Ms. Li elaborated on the scope and essential points of the theoretical review section. Towards the end of the seminar, she recommended books that could assist in enhancing thesis writing skills, hoping that reading these books would effectively aid students in their thesis writing process.

Furthermore, Ms. Li Jing engaged in interactive discussions with both teachers and students who attended the seminar, patiently addressing the questions and concerns raised by the participants.
