Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the "Notice on Announcing the List of National and Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites in 2021" (Education High Office Letter [2022] No. 14). The marketing major of our school was approved as the 2021 national first-class undergraduate major construction site, and human resources management major was approved as the 2021 Beijing first-class undergraduate major construction site. Since then, all undergraduate majors in the Business School have been approved as first-class undergraduate construction sites, achieving full coverage.

When the Ministry of Education launched the "Double Ten Thousand Plan" for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors in 2019, five undergraduate majors of our school—accounting, business administration, financial management, marketing, and human resource management—were successively approved as first-class undergraduate major construction sites. Accounting, business administration, financial management, and marketing majors were approved as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites in 2019, 2020, and 2021 respectively; financial management, and human resource management were approved as Beijing first-class undergraduate major construction sites in 2019 and 2021. Among them, accounting major was also selected as a key construction of first-class major in Beijing.

The Business School will continue to strengthen professional construction, further improve majors’ quality, optimize major’s layout, strengthen majors’ characteristics. Also, we will give full play to demonstrative and radiating influence of first-class professional construction sites by comprehensively improving the teaching ability and the quality of personnel training, so as to enrich professional content and promote social development. We hope to provide more business talents for the digital age, and lay a solid foundation for building a high-level research university.
