Business School Conducts a Special Action for Expanding Employment Opportunities Through Enterprise Visits to the China Machinery Industry I

On April 21st, Business School leaders Zhang Chunping and Zhang Qian led a delegation to visit and exchange with the China Machinery Industry Information Research Institute (CMIIRI) and the Machinery Industry Press (MIP) as part of a special action aimed at expanding employment opportunities through enterprise visits. Several faculty members from the Business School also participated in the visit. They were warmly received by Wang Yan, Assistant to the President of the China Machinery Industry Information Research Institute, Director of the Personnel and Education Department, and Director of the Human Resources Department of the Machinery Industry Press, as well as An Dong, Director of the Office of Machinery Industry Press (an alumnus), Zhu Helou, Deputy Chief Editor of the Management Branch of the Machinery Industry Press, and Lu Shan, Head of the Recruitment and Training Office of the China Machinery Industry Information Research Institute.

During the visit, the delegation from the Business School first toured the Honorary Product Exhibition Hall, the Creative Product Creation Center, and the Media Integration Center of the China Machinery Industry Information Research Institute. An Dong introduced the pioneering work and achievements of the institute in research topics, journal and book publishing, cultural and creative product development, and digital transformation.

 During the subsequent discussions, An Dong provided a comprehensive overview of the China Machinery Industry Information Research Institute and the Machinery Industry Press, including their history, industry layout, product systems, and market performance. Zhang Chunping introduced the Business School's discipline and major construction, talent cultivation, and employment situation, expressing the hope that through this exchange, they could gain a deeper understanding of the needs of employers and explore further cooperation in the field of business education and employment.

Director Wang Yan then expressed a positive intention to cooperate with the Business School in areas such as internships for current students, student training, and graduate employment. She stated that the institute and the press could provide short-term internships, work-study programs, and employment internships and hoped that through collaboration, they could better understand the thoughts of the new generation of students and help them enhance their professional qualities, develop a strong sense of responsibility and mission, ultimately aiming for a win-win cooperation between the two parties.
