​ The 2022 International Symposium on China's Capital Market and the Reform of State Assets and State-owned Enterprises Was Held

On November 26, 2022, the second International Symposium onChina's Capital Market and the Reform of State Assets and State-owned Enterpriseswas held via online conference. Vice Principal Professor Gong Liutangand former Vice PrincipalProfessor Xie Zhihuaattended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, Gong Liutang, Vice Principal, and Liu Guoqiang, director of the Chinese Accounting Association, delivered speeches respectively. In the keynote presentation session, Changjiang Scholar Prof. Zeng Xiaoliang from the Business School of Southern University of Science and Technology, Prof. Chen Yang from the Business School of the City University of Hong Kong, Prof. Xie Zhihua and Prof. Wang Bin from the Department of Finance of Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) gave keynote presentations. Afterward, Zhang Weihua, vice dean of the Business School, released the Blue Book of the Research Institute of State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises (2022), a Research Report on Enhancing the Competitiveness of State-owned Economy.

The conference consisted of four sub-forums, with a total of 20 reports in both Chinese and English. Eight deans of our sister universities were invited to serve as the moderators of the afternoon forum, and more than ten scholars from the University of Hong Kong, Macquarie University, Renmin University of China, Xiamen University, Fudan University and other well-known universities at home and abroad served as commentators.

The Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University has been deeply studying the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises for years. This conference has achieved a series of achievements around the theme of "China's Capital Market and the Reform of State Assets and State-owned Enterprises ", which is expected to provide an important reference for deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises and strengthening institutional innovation.
