The Accounting Standards Committee of the Ministry of Finance announced the results of 2018 International High-End Accounting Talents on October 17th, 2018. A total of 30 professionals from universities, accounting firms, business circles and administrative institutions across the country were selected. Liu Ting, Associate Professor of the Accounting Department in BTBU and Executive Director of the MPAcc Center, was successfully elected.

In order to implement the national strategy of strengthening the country with talents and continuously enhance China's stand and influence in the field of International Accounting, the Ministry of Finance launched the 2018 International High-end Accounting Talent Selection and Training Work in May 2018. The selection methods included a written English test and a structured English interview to meet a few.

Liu Ting was elected as the first IHEA (International High-End Accountant), thanks to the training and support of the school and her own unremitting efforts. She has been teaching CPA-oriented English classes for many years, is responsible for the management of international exchange and certification centers of the Business Schools and is proficient in professional English translation.

Liu Ting's selection as an IHEA will expand the influence of our accounting major in the national accounting circle and improve our right to speak regards to international financial reporting standards and Chinese accounting standards for business enterprises.
