Professor Cai Chun, a famous accountant from the Ministry of Finance, a doctoral supervisor of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, director of the Chinese Government Auditing Research Center, responded to the Business School’s invitation and delivered an academic lecture entitled “Reflections on Strengthening the Study of Auditing Meta-Theory”. More than 100 teachers and students of the Business School participated in the event.

Professor Chai Chun reflected on the current auditing scene, clarified certain obscure understanding of theory and practice of auditing, and emphasized the integration and systematicness of academic research. Futhermore, he put forward 10 essential issues on strengthening the study of auditing meta theory. The students who attended the lecture expressed that their views were broadened and they had benefited a lot.
