On March 19, 2019, on invitation from BTBU Business School, Professor Chen Yangyang gave an academic report entitled "Captured by Mutual Funds: Do Cross-Audits Undermine Auditor Independence?" Faculty members and students of the Business School participated in this academic exchange presided over by Professor Mao Xinshu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Business School.

Professor Chen started by introducing the concept of the article. He also expounded on how to discover the gaps in existing related research and how to transform academic inspiration into academic achievements. Then, he gave a detailed interpretation of the reported papers and elaborated on the significance of the research results.

The participating faculty members and graduate students had a lively discussion with Professor Chen.
