Xie Zhihua and Others Attended the International Conference in Germany on the Development of the Global SME Alliance

From May 22 to May 25 2019, BTBU Vice Chancellor Xie Zhihua and Professor Wang GuoShun of BTBU Business School, and others attended the 2nd International Business Conference, Small Firm Internationalization and International Entrepreneurship, International Political Risk Management & Multinational Corporations in Würzburg, Germany. They also discussed with the participants about the SME Transnational Research Program and the development plan of the Global SME Research and Development Alliance. The visit was at the invitation of Rainer Wehner, Director of International Affairs at the School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS).


Xie Zhihua and others met with foreign experts to discuss the progress and next steps of the SME transnational research project. In the forum on International Political Risk Management & Multinational Corporations, Xie Zhihua gave a presentation entitled "The Financing Issue for Small and Medium Enterprises", the content of which resonated with the participants. Associate Professor Liu Ting presented a paper on "The Impact from Credit Rating on Capital Structure Adjustment" and Associate Professor Kuai Pengzhou presented a paper on "HRBP Practices in Chinese SMEs and Its Effectiveness".


In the meeting chaired by Professor Diederich Bakker of Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, Netherlands, Chair of GASMERC, experts discussed the further development plan of GASME. After the discussion, the participants decided to hold the next annual meeting of GASMERC in June 2020.
