On September 11 2019, the Ministry of Finance Ace Accountant Program's Progress Report hosted by the Accounting Society of China and organized by BTBU Business School, was held at BTBU. BTBU Vice Chancellor Xie Zhihua was present and made remarks. Professor Mao Xinshu, Dean of BTBU Business School, presided over the meeting.

On behalf of BTBU, Vice Chancellor Xie Zhihua delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Finance and the Accounting Society of China for their trust and support of BTBU, and welcomed participating experts and academics. On behalf of the Accounting Society of China, Deputy Secretary Tian Zhixin introduced the program and stated the purpose of the presentation.

The topic of the meeting was Integration and Innovation of Basic Theories and Practices of Accounting. Three members who were selected to this program in 2015 made keynotes. They are Lv Changjiang, Associate Dean of Fudan University School of Management and Deputy Secretary of School Committee, Professor Zhang Junrui of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Professor Yang Youhong of BTBU. After the meeting, Professor Qu Xiaohui of Xiamen University, Professor Dai Mingde and Professor Wang Huacheng of Renmin University made excellent comments on three reporters respectively.

The program was run by a group of well-known accountants with profound attainments, outstanding achievements, and a high reputation at home and abroad, which the Ministry of Finance had selected and built in order to promote the overall development of China’s accounting personnel team. So far, three teachers of BTBU - Professor Xie Zhihua, Professor Yang Youhong and Professor Wang Bin, have been selected for the program, which proves the influence of the accounting discipline of BTBU in domestic accounting. Holding this report will promote the development of the accounting discipline of BTBU, expanding the influence of it as well.
